Working With Us

  • Yes. We work with interior designers, architects, and hospitality groups. Our trade program includes trade pricing, configurable dimensions, full wood species selection, and a dedicated project coordinator. Apply through our Trade page or contact kari@khemstudios.com.

  • Every piece is available in walnut, cherry, maple, white oak, and ebonized ash. Select pieces offer upholstered cushion options and configurable dimensions. For specific sizing or material requests, submit a quote and we'll confirm what's possible.

  • Smaller pieces (stools, side tables, coffee tables) ship via insured ground carrier. Larger furniture (dining tables, benches, consoles) ships via white glove freight delivery into your home. Freight is quoted individually based on your location — request a quote for an estimate.

  • KHEM Studios was founded by Erik Guzman and Kari Lorenson — both MFA-trained sculptors with decades of professional practice in fine art, fabrication, and design education. Every piece is designed and produced in our New York studio.

  • Our furniture has appeared in Architectural Digest. Our homewares have been recognized by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Martha Stewart, Food & Wine, and Oprah's Favorite Things.

  • All furniture is built to order. Side tables and stools ship within 14 days on average. Larger pieces take 4–6 weeks, and custom configurations may take up to 9 weeks. Lead times are confirmed at order. If you have a specific deadline, please reach out to us before ordering so we can work with you.
